Located in the heart of the market town of Framlingham, Suffolk, The Crown Hotel is a former sixteenth century coaching inn built in 1553. The Crown Hotel has been sympathetically restored to retain this heritage and offers 14 en-suite bedrooms as well as a restaurant and bar.

Each bedroom at The Crown Hotel is unique, all tastefully and individually decorated and all equipped with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi internet.

We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week and we are also open to non-residents. We ensure that we cater for everyone's needs, from business lunches, functions, fine dining to a quick bite to eat with the family.

The front of our hotel overlooks the historic market square with views that stretch across the town - there are tables and chairs for you to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and views. For a bit more seclusion there is a picturesque courtyard at the back of our hotel.

The Crown Hotel is well positioned to explore the fantastic local attractions such as Framlingham Castle, just a short walk from the hotel, Minsmere Nature Reserve, Easton Farm Park (perfect for children) and Woodbridge Tide Mill.

We also make the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding the Suffolk countryside and Suffolk Heritage Coast (just 20 minutes away).

We are a dog friendly hotel so well behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs are able to stay overnight for an extra charge (£15).
