The Crown Hotel is situated in the centre of the historic and beautiful market town of Framlingham, Suffolk, just off the A1120. The famous towns of Southwold, Orford and Aldeburgh are just a short drive from our hotel.

The Crown Hotel is located between Norwich and Ipswich, and both are easily accessible by road. The nearest rail links to the hotel are Woodbridge, Ipswich and Manningtree. The nearest airport is Stansted which is just over an hour away, and The City of London airport is also easily accessible.

We are also a short drive from the ports of Felixstowe and Harwich. The centre of London is a ninety minute drive away and the M25 just over an hour from the hotel by road.

From the North

Take the A14 signposted Harwich, Felixstowe and Bury St. Edmunds. Shortly after Stowmarket take the A1120 Stowupland turn off. Follow the A1120 to Saxtead Green and then take the B1119 to Framlingham. On entering Framlingham follow the signs to the town centre and you will see The Crown Hotel on the Market Hill.

From the South

Take the A12 to Ipswich, join the A14 to Felixstowe and then rejoin the A12 signposted to Lowestoft. Shortly after the market town of Woodbridge, leave the A12 on the B1116 to Framlingham. On entering Framlingham follow the signs to the town centre and you will see The Crown Hotel on the Market Hill.
